- After the appointment of Supervisory Board Chairman Johannes Borgmann to the Management Board, Dr. Norbert Bensel will take over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Düsseldorf, 30 April 2014

Effective 1 May 2014 the Supervisory Board has appointed the current Supervisory Board Chairman Johannes Borgmann to the Management Board of ecotel communication ag. Mr. Borgmann has been a member of the Supervisory Board since June 2002. He became Chairman of the Supervisory Board on 18 December 2007. Mr. Borgmann has resigned from the Supervisory Board effective 30 April 2014.

Mr. Borgmann's appointment to the Management Board will also result in changes to the company's Supervisory Board. Dr. Norbert Bensel (member of the ecotel Supervisory Board since 2010 and Chairman of the Nominating/Personnel Committee) was elected as the new Supervisory Board Chairman as of 1 May 2014.

It is planned to restore the Supervisory Board to the full six members at the regular shareholder's meeting on 25 July 2014. Within the framework of the general meeting the company will recommend the shareholder Dr. Barbara Bludau for election as the new member of the Supervisory Board. Dr. Bludau, a legal practitioner and scientific manager, was Secretary General of the Max Planck Society for many years. Since 2011 she has worked as an attorney (Of Counsel) with the commercial and tax law firm P+P Pöllath und Partners mbB in Munich.
