- CFO Bernhard Seidl has decided not to seek reappointment to - Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Johannes Borgmann, is appointed to Executive Board

Dusseldorf, 31 March 2014
Mr Bernhard Seidl has informed the ecotel communication ag Supervisory Board, that he decided not to seek reappointment to the Executive Board once the current period of appointment has expired. Since 01 September 2006, Mr Seidl has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at ecotel. Additionally, he has served as of the three Managing Directors of the subsidiary, nacamar GmbH and responsible for 51% stake of its subsidiary, easybell GmbH. Mr Seidl will fully assume his duties during this period at ecotel and will ensure a smooth handover.

Chief Executive Officer, Peter Zils, "We deeply regret and accept the decision from Mr Seidl not to seek reappointment after 31 August 2014. Both the Executive and Supervisory Board would like to express their deep appreciation and gratitude for his many years of service to ecotel and the Group. In addition, we respect his decision to explore new opportunities. We, as well as in the name of all employees, wish him all success both in his career and personal life."

With effect of 01 May 2014, the current Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Mr Johannes Borgmann, will serve as Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board. Mr Johannes Borgmann has been serving on the Supervisory Board since June 2002 and as Chairman since 18 December 2007. With this, he will no longer serve on the Supervisory Board as of 30 April 2014.
Mr Borgmann has gained a lot of experience serving as Managing Director both in national and international companies and has also attained a wealth of knowledge in IT and TK systems. In the future he will undertake a wide variety of assignments. The major objective is to help the company to become better positioned in the ever increasing and changing demands in the ITK (Information Technology and Communications) market. In addition, he will take over the duties and responsibilities of the departments in which Mr Seidl served.

In addition to easybell GmbH, which is aligned to private customer business, nacamar GmbH, which now focuses exclusively on new media activities, is part of this independent business unit.

The corporate group, with its main office in Düsseldorf, currently has about 200 employees, including subsidiaries and holdings.
