Düsseldorf, April 2, 2008 
ecotel communication ag announces the buy-back of the 10% outstanding shares of the nacamar management team and holds again a 100% ownership of nacamar as of April 2, 2008. The purchase agreement has been signed with the individual acquisition companies of the nacamar management team, which has acquired 10% of the shares of nacamar GmbH as part of a management buy out (MBO) on May 3, 2007. The seller and buyer agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

ecotel is therefore able to fully integrate nacamar into the ecotel group and to leverage the planned synergies. In order to strengthen its competitive position ecotel is currently consolidating the voice-, data- and mobile services into the core business division 'Business Customers'. nacamar’s New Media business will be transferred into a separate business division and will thus obtain a greater independence and stronger focus within the ecotel group.

As part of the transaction Frederick Iwans and Udo Schienmann have stepped down from their office as managing directors of nacamar with effective date of today. Holger Gutenberger has already left the company on September 21, 2007. Mr. Iwans and Mr. Schienmann continue to work for nacamar GmbH as consultants.

ecotel’s CEO Peter Zils and CFO Bernhard Seidl, who have been co-managing directors of nacamar since September 25, 2007, continue to run the business of nacamar and the integration of nacamar and ecotel.
