ecotel communication ag has completed the already announced transfer to the Prime Standard. On Monday, August 06, 2007, ecotel’s share capital consisting of 3.900.000 shares has been admitted to trading in the Official Market (Amtlicher Markt) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with simultaneousadmission to the sub-segment of the Official Market with additional post-admission obligations (Prime Standard). Listing takes place today. In connection with the transfer to the Prime Standard, no public offer was made.. ecotel is the fourth company, which has realised the transfer to the Prime Standard since the existence of the Entry Standard.
'We are happy about the successful transfer to the Prime Standard and regard this as consequeantial step of ecotel’s stock exchange history. Since our IPO in March 2006, we have already complied with various 'Official Market' reporting and governance requirements beyond the Entry Standard guidelines. Now we have to comply with all transparency requirements of the Prime Standard and open our company for a broader investor base. We also respond to the growing importance of the capital market for our future business, especially with regard to the ongoing consolidation of the telecommunication market', says Peter Zils, CEO of ecotel.
