Düsseldorf, March 2, 2007 

ecotel communication ag / Preliminary results for financial year 2006
ecotel communication ag has generated revenues of 61,4 million Euro in the financial year 2006, a growth of 77 percent compared with the previous year revenues of 34,7 million Euro.

Earnings before Interest and Tax (EBIT) grew by 105 percent to 4,5 million Euro after 2,2 million Euro in 2006. Accordingly, ecotel was able to improve EBIT margin from 6,3 percent to 7,3 percent.
In the fourth quarter ecotel generated revenues of 14,9 million Euro in the forth quarter of 2006 based on the preliminary figures after 10,1 million Euro in the forth quarter of 2005. ecotel was able to increase EBIT to 1,3 million Euro after 0,2 million Euro in the forth quarter of 2005.
For 2007 ecotel expects to generate revenues of over 100 million Euro and an EBIT of more than 10 million Euros as a result of the solid growth as well as the recent acquisition of Tiscali Nacamar GmbH.
