ecotel maintains its profitability growth path also in the third quarter of 2011. While ecotel's revenues for the first nine month were EUR 62.0 million and stayed below previous year figures (2010: EUR 72.6 million) gross profit improved from EUR 16.2 million to EUR 18.5 million. This corresponds to a gross margin of 30% (2010: 22%).

The decline in revenue is mainly due to the reduction of interconnection fees towards mobile networks since end of 2010. Revenues in third quarter 2343 EUR 21.4 million after EUR 24.6 million in the previous year figures. In the B2B segment ecotel was able to raise its profitability via lower procurement cost as well as via its migration process from preselection to full access products.

EBITDA for the first six months of 2011 was EUR 5.3 million and was 66% above previous year figures (2010: EUR 3.2 million). EBIT was EUR 2.5 million after EUR 0.7 million in the previous year results. Net income for the first nine months was EUR 1.1 million (2010: EUR 0.1 million), which corresponds to earnings per share of EUR 0.28.

Free Cash Flow in the first nine months was EUR 3.6 million (2010: EUR 1.5 million). Net debt was reduced to EUR 1.4 million and was thus reduced by EUR 5.1 million in the past 12 months. The equity ratio was raised to 48%.
For 2011 ecotel anticipates revenue of EUR 80-85 million. ecotel maintains its expectation to reach the upper limit of its EBITDA guidance of EUR 5.5-6.5 million.
